Finland's U.S. Ambassador Robert Frank Pence, wanted to honor Gene Winfield by visiting him personally at the hospital in Lahti. However, tough Gene chosed to n...ot meet the ambassador in bed but went to meet with the ambassador with the help of crushes and a wheel chair. The warm meeting was filled with smiles and stories about mutual interests and memories. Both men hopes to see each other in Finland, again, in approximately a year from now. Our friend Miranda needs your help As I said before, she is self-employed and has battled a whole year of chemo back-and-forth to the doctor & ups and downs. Miranda thought she was in the clear and was doing well This January she got the news that her cancer is back , leukemia.. Definitely not what any of us was expecting to hear. So, here she goes again..another year Another year without income, another year with working extremely hard to keep up her strength and to k...eep the doctors and insurance companies in order Thankfully she does have insurance (hmo) but unfortunately it seems that everybody in the health field needs to be schooled.. Please, help our friend. Miranda is a single, young 42-year-old The cost of a cup of coffee...dinner ..anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated!! Please also share on your wall.
