Oh no! We’ve had to postpone the video of ‘Mr. Gumpy’s Outing’ with Quack & Wabbit. We’ll let you know as soon as it is ready. In the meantime, you might like to check out a copy of the book from your library (https://tinyurl.com/y65znqph) you can place a hold and then pick up the book during curbside service. Your puppet will be delighted to read the book with you!

Have you made your own sock puppet? If not, call your library to see if kits are still available. If you have, get ready for next week’s puppet show by learning how to make your puppet move and talk, even dance and sing! See the library’s Kids Create playlist ( https://www.youtube.com/watch) for Quack & Wabbit’s videos about making and using puppets. Kids Create program funded by the County of Humboldt.

Pick up a free sock puppet kit from any branch of the library beginning Saturday, November 21, while supplies last. Kits are designed by Quack & Wabbit. Instructions are included, but the videos are even better, especially to learn how to glue the eyes in place. See the library’s Kids Create playlist (https://www.youtube.com/playlist) for puppet-making tips, and, later, for more videos in the series learning how to move your puppet and joining a Quack & Wabbit puppet show! After you make your puppet, you might like to share it with #HumCoLibrary #KidsCreate Kids Create program funded by the County of Humboldt.
