We’re inspired by our San Francisco team's recent volunteering efforts at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank! Together, our employees packaged 900 bags of food for seniors and at-risk individuals in the Bay Area. What are ways you like to give back to your community? #HudsonHelps #BetterBlueprint
How can companies blend technology and office space to create warm, engaging environments for tenants and visitors? At Hudson Pacific’s HQ at 11601 Wilshire, 139 individual screen modules come together to create a seamless video wall that even requires its own control room and custom steel structure to support the T-shaped display. Proud to have received two 2021 Fitwel Best in Building Health Awards Greatest Number of Certifications and Highest-Scoring Project (Bentall Centre Commercial Site v2.1). Kudos to the many employees who worked behind the scenes to achieve eight property certifications in 2020!
In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, we’re celebrating women around the world and especially the incredible women of Hudson Pacific. From Los Angeles to Vancouver, from entry-level to our Board of Directors, and in every department, talented women have made countless contributions to our growth and success. Today and every day, we appreciate you and we celebrate your achievements. #IWD2021
We’ve been thrilled to work with famed fashion and celebrity photographer Andrew Macpherson to document the transformation of One Westside from a shopping mall to state-of-the-art campus for Google. Andrew’s photos offer a unique look at the project: creating magic with light and shadow and elevating construction work from the mundane to the extraordinary, as seen through his lens.
Here at Hudson Pacific, we’re focused on donating or recycling as much unused construction material as possible. We have donated more than 15,000 square feet of carpet to Rebuilding Together, a non-profit that partners with the community to rehabilitate low-income homeowners’ residences. We’re proud to work with incredible partners who make such a difference in our communities. #BetterBlueprint
From all of us at Hudson Pacific, we’re happy you’re part of our Hudson Pacific family. We are wishing you and a happy and healthy New Year.
In a company-wide memo from 2013, Airbnb's CEO Brian Chesky explained the importance of maintaining a strong company culture. He wrote that employees have the power to determine culture by upholding their company's core values in everything they do. We agree, now more than ever.
We have come together with our One Westside joint venture partner Macerich to launch the Vibrant Cities Arts Grant, which will support the creative community and artists in Los Angeles impacted by COVID-19. The grant will fast-track more than $650,000 to local artists and arts organizations in need. For more information, visit VibrantCitiesArtsGrant.com.
Welcome to Washington 1000, where we plan to develop a Class A office building with innovative health and safety features in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood. Where we work is a part of who we are, and it’s where we can reach our full potential. At Washington 1000, there are 1000 possibilities for every square foot. For the second year in a row, we are proud to receive a Green Star designation and a five-star rating by GRESB for exceptional environmental, social and governance (#ESG) performance. Each year, fewer than 20% of global companies receive this honor. The rating reaffirms our commitment to minimizing our environmental footprint to benefit the communities where our tenants and employees work, live and play. https://bit.ly/2JMNR1R
In the spirit of giving, our team at Rincon Center in SF recently volunteered at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, an organization that does incredible work to fight hunger and food insecurity in the Bay Area. We’re thankful for opportunities to give back to our communities during these times. #HudsonHelps
Some food for thoughtnearly 95% of the merchants in the Ferry Building originated in the Bay Area and also locally source their food and handmade goods. Our vibrant new mural celebrates the renowned food hall’s artisanal roots and the joy good eating brings to foodies everywhere!
A little good goes a long way! This month, we are proudly providing donation bins across our portfolio to help collect gently used and new coats for those in need in our community. We will be donating the coats to local nonprofits in our core markets.
Vancouver’s Bentall Centre recently debuted an ambitious mural program across a highly visible parkade. Six local artists were carefully selected for both talent and diversity. Together, their collection offers a cohesive yet eclectic destination for Bentall Centre tenants and the Vancouver public.
At our new regional office in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood, we embraced the historic integrity of a 100-year-old building while also modernizing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. We stripped and restored the wood ceiling and exposed gorgeous brick walls while adding in modern technology and telecommunications solutions for our contemporary workforce.
We are busy executing on the first phase of renovations to Bentall Centre to create a more vibrant and programmed destination in the heart of Vancouver’s central business district. Enhanced tenant amenities include this brand new Athletic Centre and end-of-trip facility with fitness equipment, change rooms, lockers and towel service. We’re adapting to the ‘new normal’ across our portfolio to keep our tenants and employees safe, comfortable and productive. A huge thank you to our employees, tenants and vendors for doing your part!

We’ve transformed a former Coca Cola warehouse in the heart of Downtown LA’s Arts District into premier creative office space for a leading tech company. Full of comfortable and spacious common areas like this room with a speakeasy vibe, our tenant has done a fantastic job modernizing the interior while paying homage to the building’s roots.
It’s a win-win with Buzzi Space at our new regional office in Silicon Valley’s Foster City. Their artsy ceiling installations look great and the felt material helps alleviate echo-y acoustics that arise from concrete floors and open ceilings.
This is CUE, shining brightly in the heart of Hollywood. Many things make this building special; such as the rooftop deck for safely-distanced collaboration and offices with Juliet balconies, allowing tenants to open windows along the façade of the building for lots of fresh air.
Hello sunshine! Through a partnership with SWA Group San Francisco, we created an outdoor environment at our Palo Alto Square campus that blends the best of interior workspace and outdoor landscaping. This new set up makes it easy to head outside for inspiration, collaboration and a shot of vitamin D.
We recently adapted the back plaza of the Ferry Building into one of San Francisco's largest al fresco dining areas. The 76 tables are appropriately distanced and dedicated janitorial staff ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable dining experience. Can't beat that view either!
At Bentall Centre in Vancouver, we partnered with Alvéole, an urban beekeeping company, to safely host a beehive through the honey harvest in late summer. Tenants can participate in workshops and info sessions as part of our continued commitment to sustainability.
In his 2009 University of Michigan commencement address, Google co-founder Larry Page noted that big challenges attract the best employees and partners. Here at Hudson Pacific, we, too, set our sights highand are proud to work with some of the very best to bring our vision to life.
