CSUPERB: Spring 2021 Faculty & Student Travel Grant Program Deadline: Monday, March 8, 2021 Amount: $1,500... About: The CSUPERB Travel Grant programs support CSU faculty and student travel to biotechnology-related professional meetings and workshops or to collect biotechnology-related data at shared instrumentation facilities or research sites. The spring round of grants will support travel between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022. CSUPERB is anticipating a return to normal(ish) campus operations in the Fall of 2021. It is unknown when the ban on campus funded travel, currently through June 30, 2021 will be lifted. See the COVID-19 grant guidance at https://www2.calstate.edu//csup/Pages/COVID-19-Impact.aspx to see how funded travel grants can be adapted or extended. CSUPERB defines biotechnology as a fusion of biology and technology. The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) lists biotechnology examples. CSUPERB explicitly adds to the list health IT and medical device research and development. CSUPERB welcomes and encourages applications from CSU faculty in all disciplines related to the current practice of biotechnology, including but not limited to life sciences, physical sciences, clinical sciences, math, computer science, agricultural science, engineering, and/or business. Apply: If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please visit the CSUPERB home page at: https://calstate.edu//csuperb. This announcement is for all faculty and students involved or interested in biotechnology education and research on your campus. Questions can be directed to the CSUPERB program office at 619-594-2822 or [email protected]. https://pmc.humboldt.edu//funding-opportunity-csuperb-spri...
