Squad Up Closing your business down for several months while trying to take care of your team and clients is one hell of an obstacle. We're fortunate enough ...to achieve a few crucial wins along this path in order to stay in business. One of those wins is how my team is pulling together. I was taught by a wise man you "Manage things and lead people." He said you'll know you're doing it right when they start pulling through for you in times of great distress. I must admit that times got really dark a few months into this shut down. I started worrying about how we were gonna pull through to next year. I started feeling alone as any small business owner would feel during these trying times. My inner voice started spiraling; What's the next move? What's the right move? What hard decisions need to be made now? How do I lead this team and business to the otherside of this pandemic when there's really no proven game plan for this? And then I'm hit with a question from an outside voice; "What can WE do to help?" And that voice was from the team who have been with me up to this point. I was reminded that as the "Head Guy" I'm not in this alone and if I've been doing my job right my squad would step up when it's really needed. And that they did. I'm so proud of @anthony.perez___ and @ivyt for banding together, starting things back up and adapting to this new age of training. They've grown a ton since they started with us and now they continue to lead. I'm proud of @steelflexx_ @arthur_s @ssjperformance @jasontaylor27 @koolkalmken @jahkaidaddy @swolechalla @danuijuzhong @coachingbykilo and even our interns @bhoistaaan and Zoren who've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes to make shit like you see here possible. Today I go over a solid hip and low back stretch that helps improve mobility, strength and relief within your low back and hip area. I do this every time before... I start a lower body day or weightlifting session. If you have often have a tight low back and hips, working on the external rotators of the hip in this manner will help you release tension and move better hopefully with less discomfort. I got this idea from Joe DeFranco in which I am also part of his CPPS coaching squad. A ton of great training tools and regiments I've learned since being part of this learning organization.
