In the spirit of Thanksgiving we welcomed a young man aging out of the foster care system into his new home. As a volunteer it is overwhelming seeing the client’s reaction to their new home transformed. Howard Interior Designs is so grateful for opportunity to be a part of Humble Design. Cleaning the Hallway. This wide hallway that looks onto an interior courtyard was given a fresh modern feel. Starting by squaring off all edges and adding custom mill-work both to the niches and nine-inch baseboards. The color palette was dictated by the new porcelain floor tile. Perfect Greige by Sherwin Williams was chosen for the dramatic baseboards while Popular Gray covers the walls.

As a certified designer I am obligated to attend continuing education seminars and classes throughout the year. This assures I keep abreast of the latest trends, styles building codes and all the greatest new fixtures and appliances coming to market. Last night I attended Colormix Forecast presented by Sherwin Williams, which was great. The hour-long color forecast presented 45 trend colors for 2020 spun into five palettes: ALIVE, MANTRA, PLAY, HAVEN and HEART. Deltile hosted the event and presented the color palettes in the form of tiles. Can you name the groups?
