A month ago the world changed. A global pandemic has enveloped 8 billion humans with ambiguity, fear and isolation. In El Salvador strict shelter in place orders have quarentined the country, creating near absolute joblessness. This economic tragedy has forced millions to the brink of starvation. In this dark time the immense generosity of humans has been a lifeline to feed the families in Mizata and surrounding areas.... Over 100 donors helped @visitmizata and @nawibeachhouse purchase over 5,000 pounds of food that was distributed to over 2500 humans in need. As the El Salvadoran Congress meets tomorrow to pass an extension of house arrest, the number of humans at risk of starvation is skyrocketing.
