A message from Eric Gantos, owner of Hot Rod Shop Inc., regarding our response to the Coronavirus and it's repercussions.

Wonderful example of first-rate projection mapping - now a standard for a lot of our creative partners and clients! We were not involved in this installation, but can certainly appreciate the artistry and expertise! The Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles (...and what a beautiful "canvas" for it!)

Occasionally, Hot Rod Shop Inc has projects come to us that are outside our usual routine, but are worthy causes, pose interesting construction challenges, and give our multi-talented staff a chance to show off their skills. The SFSC Audio Booth was just such a project! In collaboration with Invision and the San Francisco Senior Center, we created a small, self-contained Audio Booth where members can record their life and family histories, memories of historical events,... and general interest observations of life in the San Francisco bay area. The booth is tucked away in the basement of the Maritime Museum, and is outfitted with soundproof curtains, an iPad interface for the recordings, and is styled after the existing nautical aesthetic of the building.
