Just over a week ago, Mr. Travis and our students welcomed these little guys to the world! The eggs were meticulously cared for in the biology classroom and resulted in 8 ducklings hatching out of the 13 original eggs. The reason is to witness first hand the miracle of life. We discuss what goes on in the egg for 28 days then we witness animal behavior amongst 8 sibling ducks, does dominate behavior happen, if so how long before it manifests itself. -Mr. Travis

Through our Rhetoric School’s unique Investment Club, our students have exceedingly increased in their knowledge and market awareness. The club’s account is up 30% since they began and has a portfolio with 30 current positions. It is slanted towards names in the consumer and technology sectors with other standout names being, Microsoft, Apple, Hasbro, Activision, Disney, Alibaba, and Nike. The account currently sits at an astounding $130k! We look forward to their continued success and growth of our other distinctive clubs within the school.

If you have children between the ages of 3 and 6, you will want to sign up for Horizon Prep’s Early Education Summer Camp Program. This camp offers little ones 2 weeks of pure fun including arts and crafts, fitness, music and movement, Bible stories, and more!
