Prescribed Burning 101 A Virtual Workshop Series Join the Mendocino County Prescribed Burn Association and UC Cooperative Extension- Mendocino County for a series of workshops designed to introduce landowners, managers, stewards, and community members to the process of using prescribed fire in #Mendocino and neighboring Counties. Topics discussed will include: Fire Ecology... Developing Burn Plans and Smoke Management Plans Air Quality and Cal Fire Permits Tools of Prescribed Fire Establishing Burn Units Firing and Control Methods Risk and Liability Working with Prescribed Burn Associations A series of four workshops will be held in February on Thursday nights from 6-7 pm.
