Here’s how: Mix Using gloves, add teaspoon of Clorox Regular Bleach2 to every 1 quart of water you use in the flower vase and stir to mix. Cut Unwrap the bouquet and cut a little off the bottom of each flower stem to increase absorbency. When cutting the stems, make sure to also consider cutting them to size for your flower vase. Refresh Weekly As Needed Ensure the water stays clear and free of that nasty smell that starts to brew about a week after the flowers bloom. Check the flowers weekly, and mix up a fresh batch of water solution as needed.
