I'm noticing a lot of people feeling panic because of what's happening in our world today. Keep in mind that this will pass and we will be left with the memory of how we've handled it. Let's be sure that even in this scary time, we are behaving like the people that we want to be known as.

This will be my second one without my mother. I'm not a sobbing ball of tears this year but I also feel like the ache is deeper. There's this urge to smother the grief in happiness and gratitude and the spirit of the season - but it's okay to acknowledge your grief. You can be happy and sad. You can be ful...l of joyous holiday spirit... and also sad. Two feelings can exist in us simultaneously and we can honor them both. So let's talk about grief.
