Maria just called in sick. I will only have myself and Marty to help today. We may have to take turns. So sorry! We will still be there.

We are going to offer some horse time and grooming again this Sunday! We may try a little pony ride in the arena next to us and would need family to side-walk. We can't offer back-riding, so if your rider requires that, they may not be able to get a ride in. Please RSVP! The vaulting coach used Tanita for the first time, and boy, was she feeling good! She was bucking and galloping!!!! Definitely a first for Tanita! It is really great sign! Thank you all for all of the thoughts and prayers for her recovery! We are doing another blood test tomorrow and if the results are good, she will go back to Davis for another ultrasound recheck. It was so fun to see everyone Sunday and to see all the smiles! The horses enjoyed all the attention and treats! I can’t do it this Sunday but let me know if you want to come again November 1st!

Tanita is not out of the woods :-( She had a fever last night and was breathing heavily. Dr. Williams came out and looked at her again and we are changing the antibiotics she is on. She still had the fever this morning and her white blood cell count is still really high. We are waiting to hear from Davis what they recommend. Please keep her in your prayers again! I will try to keep everyone posted.

Tanita is home and doing well! She has a bad haircut but it will grow back! She says thank you for all the prayers!

Hello Hooves for Harmony fans! I wanted to give everyone an update on Tanita. She continues to improve and it going to be able to come home Friday night. The short version is they really don’t know what caused the infection. She has had blood work, belly taps, full body ultrasounds, and more exams than you want to hear about! The good news is she is much better on antibiotics and we will continue to watch her white blood cell count once she returns. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. We will be doing a fundraiser to help pay for her vet bills for a whole week at UC Davis. Stay tuned

Just got word. She is doing great! Antibiotics are working! No fever, eating and seems happy. Doing an ultrasound tomorrow to rule out any tumors. Thank you for the prayers! They are working!! Oh, and they are all in love with her of course!!! Fingers crossed she can come home soon!

Please say a prayer for Tanita. She coliced this morning and is at UC Davis. Just got my first update and she has very high white blood cell count so they think it’s an infection. They are trying antibiotics and will give me a report in the morning. Fingers crossed it isn’t cancer.

Hello Hooves for Harmony fans! The ponies miss you all and so does our team!!! We are working on some fun ways to stay connected during this difficult time! In the meantime, here are some pics of your buddies to enjoy! The horses have been getting peppermint-flavored nebulizer treatments to help with the smoke. Everyone is doing very well!!

Update on COVID: The board had planned to meet August 6th to discuss reopening for the Fall. In light of the current numbers, Marin County being added to the watch list, and all schools going remote, we have decided to remain closed for the time being. Schools are saying the earliest they could open is September 9th (assuming the numbers steadily drop), so we plan to meet September 3rd to see what the numbers look like at that time. I think it is fair to say that if schools a...re closed, we will stay closed. However, schools may be able to open with social distancing in place, where it may be more complicated for us, so we will have to discuss procedures and figure out if we can open safely. Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions or would like an update at any time. I know this is frustrating for all involved, and I would love to get everyone back in the saddle, but safety is our number one priority! Stay safe and know that we all miss you! See more
