From their first inquiry on, I knew that Erin and Juan were going to embody Honey DREAM clients. These two are polar opposites, met during med school, and enjoy spending any free time they get doing one of two things: running wild on vacations together or letting their beloved golden retriever do the wild running. They’re a brilliant, dynamic duo that fit together like puzzle pieces: Juan with his hilarious, outgoing presence and Erin with her magnetic, steady personality.... Simone + Griffin. HUGE fans of all things non-traditional, fun, and 90's. These two said I do on their 10 year anniversary, surrounded by their people, an epic 90's playlist, old school arcade games, and even an achievement unlocked: got married! cake topper. Wait, did I mention the In-n-Out truck and custom logo they had made?! Oh. AND THE INFLATABLE UNICORN FIRST LOOK?! Yeah. F’ tradition. Simone and Griffin, your big day was the raddest of rad, and no doubt the next level of your game will be your best yet: married life!

I could write about this wedding for days on end. It was full of magic. Meet this magical pair, Christine + Matt. Their first date was golfing. Our bride takes her first swing, looks back over her shoulder and sees Matt beaming! They both agree now that it was a love-at-first-swing/sight smile. Because these gorgeous humans sort of fell for each other right there mid-swing, they incorporated their first date into their wedding day - saying I do on a picturesque golf cours...e. BUCKET LIST MATERIAL! All the heart eyes for this one

Three words: BIG. SUR. ELOPEMENT. (!!!!!!). Okay, now a few more... A drop-dead-gorgeous elopement in Big Sur featuring a couple that embodies the statement when you know, you know, plus a French Bulldog? Yeah. It’s just going to be all the buzzwords you can muster up. Beautiful, intimate, decadent, tender-hearted, fun, special, romantic. Everything.

Is there anything that can be said about a freakin’ wedding in Big Sur other than, HOLY SHIT!? Because that’s basically all I was saying all day long. __ When Rochelle asked me if I was cool with us just finding a little corner at a campground for their ceremony, I think I broke the world record for how quickly I texted back, UH YEAH. Surrounded by only a handful of their loved ones (and of course, their frenchie Lucy), they did the damn thing and because Mr + Mrs. __ It was a dream ceremony followed by a dream dinner where they asked me to be a guest with their family. Did I mention this is my job?! I won the lottery here, people.

Meet Megan and Tim: two incredibly loved, loving, lovers who said ‘I do’ with the most epic brunch wedding - a nod to their shared zest for the early hours of the day. If two early birds find each other, they get the worm and get married, that’s the saying, right? There is this saying in the endurance training world. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. It’s clear that these two have become a rock solid team. Which as it turns out is perfect, because now they can wake up ridiculously early together for the rest of their lives! Cheers, cheers, CHEERS to Megan and Tim.

Meet Chelsea and Thomas - the physical representation of the quote It was always you. This duo suspected they’d be together forever in HIGH SCHOOL. Twelve years, college, grad school and one freakishly-adorable dog later, they said I do on a day that felt like it was carved into the calendar just for them. It was one of those perfect San Diego spring days where the tide is low, the temperature was warm yet breezy, and the sunset was busy taking breaths away. Chelsea and ...Thomas fit right in. Their interactions with one another are so comfortable, warm, and STEADY. These two, you guys, they’re just gold. Cheers to YOU TWO!

Just peep this engagement sesh Christine and Matt are hands down the most joyful, fun-loving couple EVER. We met at the break of dawn, and though it rained the night before, we were met with the perfect gray-blue skies. These two drank their coffee together, belly laughed and got handsy with each other (always a plus), and really made our job so easy by just being THEM. That's our fave thing. When couples just relax, enjoy each other, and let us capture the story in between... "posing". We ended the shoot by me telling Matt to just spend 5 minutes "being weird" doing whatever they wanted. Their request? Fake jumping-off-the-cliffs photos. YESSSS. So hyped for their June wedding with Bliss Events!

These two lovebirds are truly best friends - a cliche that’s only a cliche if it’s corny or untrue. Trust me. With them, it’s so true. Together, they’re a dynamic duo that is truly joy-filled. Exuberant even. Chelsey and Dalton had designed their wedding day to truly reflect their fun life together. Not only where the details like meaningful names like Dunder Mifflin and Gryffindor in lieu of table numbers totally them, but also the enthusiasm and silly that they brought... to their day. And these guests? They brought the FUN, too. Not only did they alllllllll enthusiastically wave around crazy fiber optic wands during the traditional dances, but they also challenged Dalton for the title of Most Energetic Dancer out there during open dance. (P.S. check the photos Dalton won by a landslide). For such a happy, in-love-with-my-best-friend type of couple (hashtag goals) I couldn’t have pictured a better, more perfectly them day.
