Had a moment to visit the Eastern Bakery over the weekend. Chinatowns oldest bakery, doors opened in 1924. It’s one of the many businesses that has been affected by the pandemic. Business in Chinatown was already suffering and down 35% pre-pandemic. Post break out merchants took a 90% hit or more, many permanently closed. This is just another special part of SF that was once booming and we hope to see it flourish again soon.
