As much as adult children don't want to talk about their parents' love life, it's important to know that sexually transmitted infections are on the rise in the 55+ age group. Nationally, adults 55 and over saw the highest increase in rates of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis among any age group in the past five years, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our CAREGiver of the month for February is Laura Beth! Laura Beth has been working with us since June of 2020 and is hands down one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Always has a smile on her face and takes on any new tasks with a positive outlook. We can always count on Laura Beth to follow policies too, which means so much to us and does not go un-noticed.
