Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. CBAS/ADHC serves the most at-risk. Older persons may also face age discrimination on medical care. The pandemic not only added additional vulnerabilities for older people to face. It also threatened their access to health services. Eliminating CBAS will affect many of the elderly population that could potentially lead to health risks that could've been prevented. Identify and fix the highest risk areas in the home first!! Fall prevention is a team effort!! Preventing falls is a team effort. CBAS/ADHC are very essential to our pts. We have a very hardworking team who always look out for the safety of our pts. We work together by communicating with family members and caregivers.
