We are so proud to announce that our @holytrinityhawks Student Council President, Janis, was awarded with the Presidential Scholarship from @mdcrusaders for placing in the 99th percentile nationally on the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This scholarship covers 100% of tuition for 4 years (valued at over $70,000) and is limited to the top 10 students who scored in the 99th percentile on the HSPT. Way to go, Janis! Today we celebrated Principal and Vice Principal Appreciation Day! We are the luckiest school ever to have these two amazing women to lead us. Mrs. Ballard is in her 32nd year of teaching at Holy Trinity and has never looked better! Her kindergarten class is one of love and learning and we still don’t know how she manages to do it all. She is an absolute icon and the fruits of her labor can be seen throughout the school, the community, and beyond. Mrs. Ballard, with her know...ledge and experience in Catholic education, is the quintessential vice principal and we are grateful for all she gives to Holy Trinity. Mrs. Marentez is our own personal Wonder Woman and we are blessed beyond belief for the time, effort, and FAITH she pours into Holy Trinity. Under her leadership, our school has stayed open for full-time in-person learning since September 1! Never mind working to keep our children healthy and safe, Mrs. Marentez creates a vibrant campus environment full of fun activities and opportunities to celebrate all God has given us. In only her second year as a principal, she has wowed all of us and we already can’t imagine Holy Trinity without her! We love you, Mrs. Marentez and Mrs. Ballard! Today was special and memorable for so many reasons! We ended #redribbonweek2020 in such a faithful and meaningful way as Catholic school students. Our @holytrinityhawks came to school dressed up as their favorite saint, and we celebrated an All Saints School Mass outside together.
