El día 4 de diciembre 2005, en la catedral de Sacramento, California, comenzó el proceso oficial de canonización del obispo Alfonso Gallegos, Agustino Recoleto.... Sigamos rezando por su canonización y acudiendo a su intercesión. Quien reciba un supuesto milagro por intercesión del obispo Gallegos favor de comunicarlo, [email protected]. Necesitamos documentar dos milagros para que su causa siga avanzando. Aquí compartimos algunos favores recibidos por su intercesión: Yo me caí de la bicicleta rumbo al trabajo, Dios sabe que digo la verdad. Yo estoy seguro de que me quebré la mano. Ese día no pude trabajar. Tenía unos dolores muy fuertes y en la noche yo le pedí a Mons. Gallegos con mucha fe poniéndome su estampita en la mano. Al siguiente día desperté y ya no tenía nada. Para mí es algo muy grande porque nunca había experimentado algo así. Carta que se dejó ante la tumba del obispo Gallegos en Sacramento, CA: Yo te quiero dar las gracias por haberme ayudado con mi hija, vine desde Los Ángeles a visitarte. Gracias por haberme escuchado y ayudarme con el problema de mi hija de quince años. Le querían dar tres años en una prisión juvenil. Ayúdame a ser una buena madre y a llevar a mis hijos por el camino del bien. Cuídame mucho a mis hijos tu sabes la desesperación que yo sentía y tú intercediste por mí y mi hija. Estoy muy agradecida y en deuda contigo. Oración: Dios Padre, hiciste al Obispo Alfonso Gallegos un pastor de la Iglesia para alimentar a tus ovejas con sus palabras y para enseñarles con su ejemplo. Oramos para que su vida de santidad y servicio al Pueblo de Dios sea reconocida y que este hijo fiel de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe sea contado entre los santos de tu Reino. So let’s do something fun. Who has a little shrine. Go ahead and post a picture and share what encouraged you to start it. I’ve always wanted to build one but never did. However, when my mother began to visit me and stay in the spare room, I thought it would be the perfect activity to share. She has the green thumb. I get great joy in this experience with her and she is teaching me how to care for plants. Together we have created and tended this special garden. A place to meditate and pray through the intersection of our Mother Mary. Thank you Jesus

O God, glory of the faithful and life of the just, by the Death and Resurrection of whose Son we have been redeemed, look mercifully on your departed servants, ...that, just as they professed the mystery of our resurrection, so they may merit to receive the joys of eternal happiness.
