Rod, Reef, Tehya and I are so excited to announce our new candle set in collaboration with my Reiki student Victoria (@sanactitude). This has been on my heart and mind for a year now. Big mahalo to @sanactitude for bringing my vision to life. I really wanted this to be something my family and I were proud of and we couldn’t be more excited to share these wonderful scents with you! These candles truly represent each of our personalities. These are 13oz. hand-poured soy candle...s with essential oils and Hawaiian salt. We have a very limited amount. And when we sell out, we can put you on the waitlist while we make more. Candles are $40/each. Or you can buy the set of four + a crystal sphere of my choice (valued $60+) for $180. This price does not include shipping. If you plan to buy crystals from me this month, I can include the candle with your order to make shipping more affordable. [Scroll: Food for thought] I will announce next week how you can help us get our non-profit @highvibrationalchild off the ground and support Autism Acceptance and Awareness Month. In the meantime, please go check out this brilliant book by Steve Silberman. It’s a bestseller and the book that Autistic adults stand by the most. I am still in the process of finishing it myself, but the FB Groups I am a part of that are led by Autistic adults are highly in agreement with this boo...k. Also, please do not support Autism Speaks. Autistic adults don’t like them. And do not wear anything that is a puzzle piece or supporting ‘light it up blue.’ INSTEAD, go with the infinity symbol and light it up red instead! Reef’s doctor wanted us to have his blood drawn for eugenics. And Rod and I said absolutely not! We would never abort our child if we knew ahead of time that he was Autistic. I get emotional when thinking that this could be the future if we continue to support groups like Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks barely has any actual Autistics on their board. Only 4% of their annul budget actually goes to supporting Autistic people. Most of their budget goes to salaries. They support Eugenics and think that Autistic people want to be ‘cured.’ They don’t listen to Autistic voices, who just want to be accepted. If you have a different opinion and aren’t open to learning, please do not comment here. *Also, I learned from Autistic adults that they want to be referred to as ‘autistic’ and not ‘someone with Autism’ or ‘someone who has Autism.’ For example, you would not say ‘someone has gay’ or ‘someone is with gay.’ You’d say ‘someone is gay.’ So say ‘someone is Autistic.’ That’s the correct way adults would like to be referred to. You may hear differently from parents. But I go by people who’ve actually lived it. Who am I to judge their experience.
