I was in the neighborhood and couldn’t resist coming to see my old junior high school, Palms Jr. High School, today known as Palms Middle School. Went to school here from 7th thru 9h grade. It was a fun experience going to school here, overall.

I have had a box at this Post Office in Hollywood since 1997 or so. Checking in to make sure that it’s still mine! The last few times that I have come, no mail in the box. This is a cool building, by the way. It was built in 1937, under the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration, when so many great other things were built by the US government for this country, like the Hoover Dam.

Waiting in line at California Secretary of State. Got here 30 mins after opening. About 100 people were ahead of me in line. Social distancing is being ignored. In the elevator picture, there were actually 6 people on the elevator, when the sign ask for 4 maximum. The Now Serving sign/machine is broken. Selfishness abounds here. Lots of coughers. There’s definitely a risk to your health if you come here yourself. And the wait is LONG.
