I have been working with a new organization called Breathe for the last several months-- it is a nonprofit dedicated to racial and climate justice work. The Hive is two years old and we are moving online! Because of the pandemic, we have been forced to close our doors and let go of our physical location. However, we are excited to announce that we are moving to an online platform and will continue to host and produce events that serve the community. Such a great time we had celebrating our first year at The Hive Marin! As many of you know, we had to close our doors in March, along with countless other businesses across the country. After two months of paying rent on a space we can’t use, we are letting go of our lease and passing it on to someone new, who will hopefully run with it once the SIP is lifted. Meanwhile, after two years of having classes, meetings and a variety of events in our beautiful, sunny space, The Hi...ve is transitioning to an online platform! Kym Kuzmic and Pauline Romas have some exciting offerings coming up that will hopefully serve the community during this unprecedented time. For now, I want to extend my immeasurable gratitude to everyone who has supported me and The Hive over these last two years. I have learned a ton, grown a ton, and made a thousand mistakes along the way! I am grateful for the lessons, for the blessings, and for all the amazing people I have met and worked with along the way. Building community and connection with ourselves and each other has never been more important, and we still keep this mission as our North Star. To be continued! See more
