Per usual we are ramping up for Second Saturday this weekend in Sonora. This Saturday from 5-8pm join us downtown and enjoy live music, local art and craft all up and down South Washington Street. We are in the middle of all of it! Make a trip out of it and enjoy an art filled fun weekend with us.

We love the new beautification project that is happening downtown! It's even more gorgeous during the evening when it's all lit up. The perfect photo op for visitors and locals alike.

We have been shopping around for a birthday gift, but what do you get for a historic state park that has everything, including gold?! Columbia California is celebrating it's birthday on March 27th from 11am - 5pm and it's free for anyone who wants to participate! The celebration takes place on Monday this year in the middle of town with a speech, cake, punch and reenactments as costumed docents gather together to recognize that memorable day. It's quite the get together if you'll be visiting the area, we highly recommend checking it out!

We are going to hit our busy season soon and we have a few Yosemite travel tips for you if you are heading into the area: - Leave early from your hotel of choice if you aren't staying at the park and avoid traffic! - When you arrive at the park if you park at the first available parking lot with a space then you can just take the shuttle to all the noteworthy spots in the park! The shuttle will bring you back to your vehicles parking lot on its route, making it easier and qu...icker for you to get around the park. - Get gas in town before you leave.
