Yowzah! This was our biggest house of the year! The homeowners felt like the tan color scheme didn't fit the architectural style of the home and wanted to modernize it a little bit. Do you like the new color or the original?... Some of the fun facts about this home: We used 54 gallons of paint and 12 gallons of stain We had to use a safety harness and install hooks on the roof to stay safe Because of the color change we applied 2 coats of Kelly Moore 1245 paint to the body The client only paid the price we quoted them (its part of our Perfect Price Promise) We hauled away all the trash, reinstalled all the lights, and cleaned up all of the mess that we could. Did you know that the quality of the paint used on your exterior has a direct relationship to how long the paint job will last? The mid-grade paints will typically start to show oxidation (chalking) in 4-7 years, but the high-end paint lines will last at least twice as long. We always look at the long term for home maintenance and believe that spending 3-5% more on the project makes a lot more sense than using a cheap paint. We rarely recommend Elastomeric paint for exteriors. It is designed to solve a specific problem (stop moisture intrusion in monsoonal climates) and Northern California doesn't have the weather to need that. And while it can be used to fill hairline cracks, it is actually less durable than high-end exterior paint and will need to be repainted sooner. Are you thinking about exterior painting or another painting project in your home? We would to do it for you. In addition to our #ExteriorPainting we also offer #InteriorPainting and #CabinetreFinishing and #DeckStaining You can schedule a free estimate and get to know us a little better by visiting our website: www.hinespainting.com

Whoa! Look at this transformation! Can you believe this is the same kitchen? The homeowners had updated the countertops, appliances, and lighting before they contacted us to complete their cabinet refinishing. Originally, they planned on using a beige color, but after seeing our white sample door they fell in love ... Do you think they made the right decision? Our standard process for cabinet refinishing is to: Deinstall all doors and drawers Mask all floors and countertops Clean all surfaces with a degreaser Sand all surfaces with our Hepa Certified Sanding System Apply a primer that is designed to bond to the surface and isolate potential problems Apply one of the Best Water-Based cabinet coatings in the world Reinstall all doors and drawers Clean up all of our masking material, dust counters, sweep floors Did you know that the older solvent based cabinet coatings actually yellow over time? They are also prone to getting brittle as they age. The new water-based technology cures out just as hard, but has a higher flexibility which makes it less prone to scratching or chipping. And since there's no solvents in it, the finish color doesn't turn yellow as it ages! On our average cabinet project we spend approximately 40% of the total project time sanding and prepping before we even apply any primer to the surface Are you thinking about cabinet refinishing or another painting project in your home? We would to do it for you. In addition to our #CabinetreFinishing we also offer #InteriorPainting and #DeckStaining and #ExteriorPainting You can schedule a free estimate and get to know us a little better by visiting our website: www.hinespainting.com
