Sold! 3021 West 83rd Street, Inglewood, CA Inglewood is south of DTLA and closer to the coast and LAX. Homes in this neighborhood have a lot of character and the prices are pretty decent for LA. You do have planes passing overhead a little further south of here as they head into LAX. It’s neat to watch the planes come in, some are easily recognizable from far away... Lufthansa, Japan Airlines or FedEx. Others are non-descript yet still interesting to see them slowly fly b...y. Not too far from this house is the SpaceX headquarters, you may have read about it in the news but when you see how large the facility is, it’s pretty impressive. One of the first times Elon Musk’s falcon 9 rocket took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base (2018) it created a sonic boom that reverberated 100’s of miles in all directions. Seeing the rocket take off across the LA skyline at dusk certainly startled a lot of Angelenos, causing some traffic accidents and social media posts claiming they saw a UFO. Link to see SpaceX facilities... https://www.instagram.com/p/CLAD3q5jXIh/

Non-Profits make a huge impact on the world and people’s lives. They fight for: human rights, animal rights, they work on saving forests, they work on planting forests, they try and stop human trafficking, they work on improving the environment, they try & save coral reefs, they try and make sure people have clean drinking water, the list goes on. Which non-profits do you love and support? Here are a few of the ones I like to support:... 1. National Wildlife Federation - helping wildlife thrive. www.nwf.org @nationalwildlife 2. Earthjustice - Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit public interest environmental law organization. Sometimes you need lawyers to fight on behalf of the environment. @earthjustice 3. World Wildlife Fund - they get high ratings on charity navigator and are great advocates for wildlife and their environments across the world. www.worldwildlife.org @wwf 4. TreePeople.org - inspires and supports the people of Los Angeles to come together to plant and care for trees. We need trees in the city!! @treepeople_org 5. Navajo & Hopi Families COVID-19 Relief Fund - this is actually a gofundme page: https://gf.me/u/y2hwjq - I was surprised to learn that many people living on the Navajo reservation often have no electricity and no running water and Covid-19 has really impacted their lives. So this may not be a non-profit but I think it’s a worthy cause. @navajohopicovid19relief

Sold! Vacant Land in Alpine Butte (Palmdale/Lancaster Area) This was the cheapest piece of real estate I have ever sold. It was a few acres of land in the desert. My client, a church, had been gifted the land more than 50+ years ago and they decided to sell it. The first time I went out there it was dreary, stormy morning (about 7am) and I had to drive down a dusty, dirt road in order to even locate it based on a plat map and some markers. The buyer was super nice and excited. He raises and races horses so he was going to build a stable for them.

Highlighting a grand estate that is new to market. Built in 1887, the craftsmanship is beautiful. Description... The Andrew McNally Estate, grand and exotic, is an icon of the luxe Southern California promise that called those from colder climates to the bounty and sunshine available in Altadena at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains. Upgraded and updated for modern living with over seventy-four hundred square feet of living area, this twenty-five room, nine-bedroom, six-ba...th, seven-fireplace estate is a once in a lifetime purchase opportunity. Designed by Frederick Roehrig in 1887, maintained with integrity by the Dupuy family until present day, nearly all of its opulent nineteenth century features remain intact. Gorgeous remodeled kitchen and baths deliver instant livability. With panoramic views from the San Gabriels out to Catalina Island, there is no question that the estate, with aviary and four-car carriage house/garage, still reigns over the valley below. Spacious public rooms with soaring ceilings, including the legendary and eccentric Turkish Room, thrill with rich detail and the welcome feeling of relaxation catalyzed by natural materials and artistic narrative. Carved woodwork and paneling, jeweled stained glass, 24 gas lamps including chandeliers, ornate bronze steam radiators, massive pocket doors of wood and leaded glass and a grand carved staircase rising to the second floor delight the eye. Windows are generous and light is plentiful. Don't miss the third story Turret. National Register of Historic Places 2007. . . . Sharing a sampling of homes I have sold in the last few months. 1299 N Wilson, Pasadena CA 91104 This is located in Bungalow Heaven, one of the neighborhoods with the highest concentration of historical homes. Built in 1910, it was designed by Henry Charles Deming, a prolific designer/builder in the early part of the 20th century. Most of the homes in this neighborhood were built between 1900-1930 and have been nicely preserved.
