Teacher Feature! Meet Ms. Gaglioti! She attended UC Irvine and is going into her 6th year here at Hillcrest as our 3rd 5th grade Special Day Class teacher! She was born and raised in Concord, CA and has a cat named Ace. When she’s not teaching or planning, she loves reading, trying new foods, and traveling. If you want to get on her good side, she loves coffee!

Teacher Feature! Meet Ms. Yang! She attended publics schools in SFUSD her whole life. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from San Jose State University. Then she went on to be in the San Francisco Teacher Residency at University of San Francisco and graduated with a Masters in Education. She began her teaching career in high school! She was in Teacher's Academy, a dual enrollment program where she took college classes and volunteered at an Elementary Sc...hool. While in grad school, she student taught at El Dorado ES and has been at Hillcrest for 5 years now! She was born and raised in San Francisco and is a very proud, first generation Chinese American, raised by an independent mother and fierce grandma. She enjoy taking photos, trying out new restaurants, and traveling. She also enjoys all things arts and crafts. Lately Ms. Yang has been painting and embroidering. If you want to make Ms. Yang happy she loves the color yellow, flowers, coconut water, Fujifilm, skincare, journals, art, breads, tea, and noodles! See more

Teacher Feature! Meet Ms. Rodriguez! She has her BA in Liberal Studies & Minor in Art & BCLAD from SFSU. She taught for two years at Dolores Huerta and this is her first year joining us at Hillcrest when she is teaching our Spanish bilingual Kindergarten! She was born and raised up in the East Bay, when she was 12 she moved to the central coast where she went to middle school and high school. Later, she came back to the bay to go to college and has been here ever since. She live with her husband and their labradoodle (Charlie). She enjoys everything art and loves ceramic sculpture, pottery wheel, painting, photography, film, home decor, cooking, eating at restaurants, traveling, and learning languages! If you want to make her happy, she loves sparkling water, açai bowls, birra tacos, and the color yellow...

Though the pandemic has been horrible, we're looking to the helpers and are so thankful for the collaboration between our school, multiples agencies and CBO's that is allowing us to deliver food to 70+ families per week!
