Hello loyal Hijinx Comics supporters, The current COVID 19 pandemic has been wreaking havoc in many ways, not the least of which is the terrible toll on the health of our community. During the course of this crisis, Hijinx has managed to stay afloat through the generosity of our landlord, and the efforts of many of our customers to access curbside service. And for this I am eternally grateful. Up until this week our outlay has been minimal. This is due to the fact that no new... product shipped from Diamond, and we incurred no trucking fees. That has now changed. The shipments of new product have restarted, and with it trucking fees are back. Rent will start again on June 1. Never being one to whine, I must now make a gentle plea to our customer base. If you have not been financially devastated by the lockdown (and if you have please let me know), consider picking up your existing accumulated subscriptions. An occasional order of a TP wouldn't hurt either. Basically, any purchase would be greatly appreciated. We can't survive an extended period of financial loss and remain solvent. How can you help? Step up to the plate and access our curbside service. Call me @ 408-266-1103, Wed thru Sat, 12:30 to 5:00 to schedule a purchase/pickup. You can also e-mail : [email protected] Hope to hear from you soon and stay well. Your friend, Neil Farris @ Hijinx See more
Hijinx Comics begain life in 1982 thanks to the original founder Mike Gamble, who dubbed it Mike's Coliseum. I grew up there and it's one of the biggest pieces of who I am as a person!
Join us as we chat with Phil Boyle of Coliseum of Comics and Brian Hibbs from Comix Experience as we explore the tremendous pressure comic shops are under just to survive in a post-Covid world.
If you care about the comic book industry and the chaos that the current situation is causing for comic book shops, please tune into the Comic Book News Industry Livestream tonight at 7:30 Pacific time. You can always catch the replay, but tuning in live will let you ask questions of some of the most knowledgeable pros in the comics industry. Not to be missed if you've ever thought about opening a comic book store!

Hello all you Hijinx patrons. Weird times indeed. We will not be open for normal business for awhile. Leave us a message @ 408-266-1103 with any particular requests or concerns. We are considering a curbside pickup option for some customers. Stay well and thank you for your support. Neil @ Hijinx
