The Solano-Yolo Lavender Trail was a huge success last weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to visit the lavender farms on the trail Il Fiorello Olive Oil CompanyPatchwork FarmAraceli FarmsGirl on the HillMorningsun Herb Farman Soul Food Farm and stayed for workshops, talks and to eat yummy lavender ice cream. And of course a huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped at all the farms. We literally could not have pulled this off without your help. We plan to do this again next year and get more farmers involved !!

Our third day of distilling Lavandula angustifolia ‘Maillette’ lavender from our farms. This magically fragrant herb is what we grow to make our artisanal essential oil and hydrosol. Next week we will be working with our Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’ that has many medicinal and wellness properties!
