The below is not going to effect Hideout as Hideout will stick with what it has been doing. Hideout does not and will not ever require proof of vaccinations or testing negative (though obviously don't come out sick lol). PLEASE NOTE from the State's Guidelines regarding Live Shows (not restaurant dinner entertainment): "To attend, people will have to either be tested or show proof of full vaccination." There's more also. Hideout Saloon Pub & Grub will NOT, under this new guid...ance, be altering its current operation. We will be continuing our *SATURDAY DINNER ENTERTAINMENT" as it follows guidance for restaurants. We will still be following the State's Guidance and capacity limits for an *indoor restaurant with patio service*. We will have some great music while you come in for our weekly dinner specials. To say that it is OK to have DJs or Karaoke would be wrong. To say dancing has returned would be wrong. The capacity is also very strictly limited and less than a restaurant. To say bands at a music venue is now a free for all, would be wrong. Our entertainment is strictly monitored. We waited two months after the original guidance was released before beginning dinner entertainment. Reservations are always highly recommended. Capacity is monitored. We could have been doing this 2.5 months ago (even back in Red Tier but at 25% capacity). I implore other local businesses to follow the Guidance for Orange Tier. We want to get OUT OF THESE restrictions please. Be open. Stay open. Follow the rules please. Bars still may only have patio service in Orange (you cannot serve indoors or have entertainment indoors, sorry). Restaurants are limited to 50% capacity with all other restrictions indoors. Are you a restaurant / bar combo like Hideout? Well, guess what, you need to have the restaurant open the WHOLE TIME you are open for indoor service. Oh, and by the way to whoever called Health Department on Hideout Saloon Pub & Grub for doing Dinner Entertainment, I say read the guidance. We are and have been operating as per the guidance. If you did not know, that is your fault for not reading the guidance. I didn't do anything not currently allowed rats.
