The best part about Labor Day is it being the gateway to the fall. October thru December are just wonderful in the desert. Easter is fast approaching and we are once again inviting you to bring the kids and grand kids to color Easter eggs at our place. We will supply the eggs, color and some gifts for the winners. We want to remind all our friends that the staff and residents are sponsoring a Thanksgiving dinner this Saturday starting about 2pm. We are supplying the turkeys and ham and the residents are bringing the rest of the pot luck. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I have been looking for a way to donate to the rescue mission in TX without lining the pockets of those that already have plenty and I have found a way. By donating to the Cajun Navy you are buying fuel and supplies for real people that put their lives on the line for free. Go to their Facebook page here and click on Contact Us. There you will find a donation button. The money is earmarked for Texas. Simple as that. God bless his volunteers.

The remodel of our laundry room and facilities is finally done. Also a new water heater and water filtration system for your showers as well as your laundry. We will be remodeling the balance of the bathroom facilities this fall. Check it out and let Julian know what you think of his hard work.

We are a week late with the announcement but we would like to welcome Julian Montes and Russell to our family of employees. Julian is new to the place but I have worked with him on another project since October and am happy to have him here running the maintenance side of things. Russell used to work here with Victory Outreach and now is a member of our family. Victory Outreach was no longer able to help us and we wish them well as they decide their future in Blythe.
