Congratulations to our newest Black Belts!! We had students testing for their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Dan Black Belts! We are so proud of this big accomplishment, despite having to participate in hybrid training these last 6 months. As Masters, we cannot be more proud and gratified than seeing our students grow into strong young men and women! You guys have worked so hard and been persistent in your training and dedication to achieving this great milestone! As many martial artists know, black belt is when the Taekwondo journey really begins. We cannot wait to see our students grow and start their journeys as Black Belts!!!! Hi 5!

Happy Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving, Celebration of Autumn) to our Hi 5 Family! Historically, the purpose of Chuseok or Hangawi (), as it’s sometimes referred to as was for families to gather together during the full harvest moon, which appeared in the sky on the 15th day of the 8th month, to celebrate and show gratitude to their ancestors for the fruitful harvest. We are very sad to announce that we will be CLOSING our Granite Bay location, effective 09/30/2020. Thank you for your continued support and BIG thank you to our GB students who have made the transition to online or EDH location classes! We are so proud of you! We will get through this. It sure is looking pretty scary outside! Here are some ways to stay safe in your own homes during the wildfire season. At Hi 5 Taekwondo, we have changed our AC air filters to HEPA filters, keep our doors closed as much as we can, and we have also invested in HEPA filter air purifiers! Your family is our family.
