Hoomaikai to all of our graduates from last weekend! We were able to have a long-overdue Hoopuka celebration with our Papa Lehua and Papa Liko and every second was beautiful. This year's open enrollment window is now closed and we are excited to "officially" start our journey with our new haumana!

Today would have been our Hike day. A day full of joy and accomplishment as we celebrated the culmination of our hula year with our hula ‘ohana. Our big show/recital is one of the highlights of our year. Happy 10th Anniversary Hula Camp to Klia I Ka Pnwai (Kumu Hula Association of Southern California). Mahalo to all of the Kumu/Members of Pnwai for their ...passion and aloha in sharing their hula legacy knowledge. A special Mahalo Nui Loa to our Chairperson, Kumu Pua Jung, and our Director of Operations, Lowell Edgar! Some of you may not know this but these two members of Pnwai had to search for a new hula camp home for us since our Malibu camp burned down in the Wolsey Fire in November 2018. We are so heart broken and sad for the huge loss to Camp Hess Kramer Gindling Hilltopour camp home for the past 9 years. Kumu Pua and Lowell have been working 24-7 since November to make sure that we could celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2019. Mahalo piha for their great efforts and mahalo nui to Carson Community Center for being our hula camp home for this year.
