Currently 15+ employees are coming... out telling their stories about the abusive behavior the owner Erik Martinez has shown. Collectively the stories are outlining manipulative behavior, sexual harassment, illegal work practices, and scamming patrons. I attached a story from one the girls below that kinda sums up all the stories but if you have Instagram you should check out the IG page dedicated to giving these girls a voice but I did want to put in perspective the type of guy he is. The common theme with all these stories is that they were young and fresh out of high school with little to none work expierence. He expressed that he didn’t want his employees to be in relationships. He would make comments about the body and appearance of employees, his manager Cassie has went as far as asking a pregnant employee what they’re going to do about her pregnancy. He’s solicited one of his employees to come over while his wife was gone, she declined and gave the information to wife and his wife told her as long as he comes home at night. This man, his accomplice Cassie is a pile of hot trash. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS COMPANY, if you know someone looking to work for this company tell them NOT TO!!! They also like to keep items on shelf well past the expiration date, they’ll rub it off or hide it with a cake walk logo. Just to be petty, hey Sams Club they like to repackage your buttercream and sell it at 3x the price. Many of you have seen everything I’ve been posting which include testimonies of past workers and clients from the cakewalk and the cookie plug let’s not forget that they have a warehouse and a commercial kitchen. This company capitalizes off there employees! And the clients! I’ve kept my mouth shut for too long! This is not me. they drove me to out them like this because suing them isn’t enough! I’m all for businesses and growing and people opening up their own stores but I’m... not going to let these people continue to open up any more stores without changing the way they treat their employees! I’m not going to let these women be treated this way anymore there’s more to it than what’s being said.
