This feature provides members with an easy way to create and join professional Events that interest them, such as meetups, online workshops, seminars, and more... How? Click the HOME icon at the top of your LI homepage, ... From the panel on left, click the ADD icon next to EVENTS In Create event window, follow instructions for each field. Add logo/banner if you like to make a stronger impression of what the event is about.. (If you are selling tickets to your event, LI also allows you to add a link to your paid tickets portal (just be sure to make clear it is a ticketed event/paid.) Click create button and you’re done! Entrepreneurs are a different breed. But, times have changed and the convergence of the a remarkable acceleration of technological advances and not least a global pandemic have produced a climate conducive to legal entrepreneurs. We find ourselves in a forever changed the buy/sell dynamic of goods and servicesla...w included. ‘More with less’ is the new normal. And, how do we do this? Here are a few ideas for you... 1. Leverage the agile, gig-economy, and enormous opportunities in the artificial intel space. Law is no longer solely about lawyers, so be sure to bring in new styled 'partners' from the marketing, biz dev, and tech industries to position yourself. 2. Client - not lawyers - now determine value, risk tolerance, and expertise. Address these needs using predictive tools, performance metrics, and digitized processes. 3. Although large intimate gatherings are prohibited, don’t use the lockdown as an excuse to let relationships dwindle. One of my clients was initially uncomfortable with the idea of a virtual coffee and now hosts "silly hat meetings" within their firm, and "virtual coffee meetups" with clients. . . . Your law firm’s brand is what you’ll be marketing, it's how you develop business, it's what is said about you when you're not in the room. Because your brand should convey value, trust and quality in how you improve your client's life, ask yourself...... Of course you’re actually marketing your law practice, but what exactly is your practice? How do you want people to view your law firm? What is your law firm’s brand? What kind of brand experience do you want people to have? For law firms and attorneys, your brand should at the very least convey value, trust, and quality in how you will improve your clients’ lives. Beyond that, you want to think about the image, style, and voice you want to convey and how you can convey that consistently. How do you want people to view your law firm? If you want to improve your online visibility, traffic and relevancy, answer questions that you're asked on a daily basis from clients, such as: "How much can I win if I'm injured?" "How do I send a demand letter?" "How much does a lawyer cost?" Ask any lawyer or receptionist and they can give you a consistent list of FAQs that, more often than not, act as screening questions on client intake. . . . To increase engagement, answer questions related to your practice areas. For example, "What do I do if I'm in a car accident and was partially at fault?" Instead of focusing on how you can leverage or "market" the uncertainty, fear and opportunities brought about by coronavirus, lawyers and firms should position themselves to do what they do best: help people. You are the counselor in more than one way. However, don't be afraid to talk about your qualificat...ions to build trust in a time when people are looking for guidance and clarify. To build this trust, share a past example of how you helped another client in a similar situation. More than a bullhorn styled pitch, this information will build confidence in your ability to help. KNOW and UNDERSTAND your specific audience and their needs. Then, give them answers to their main fears and concerns, in their language to they can related and feel comfortable connecting with someone "who gets them."
