The 8th graders are in the midst of interviewing Holocaust survivors. Before each interview, Rabbi Jan reads the lovely poem below. Kavannah: On the Wings of Blessing We live, we lose, we loveand find again.... We laugh, we cry, we lift our voices Within us is born the story that is ours to shareto tell and pass on, sacred in the moment of the telling. Memories floating on a life. To receive the story is to take within us a hallowed living text of remembrances that burn and bless. Decisions, choices, struggles endured, promises broken and kept.
