Easter Break begins on Monday, March 29 and continues through Monday, April 5. There will be no virtual or on-campus instruction during this time, and our Main Office will be closed. We hope you all enjoy some rest, relaxation, and family time, and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, April 6 or Wednesday, April 7, Thursday, April 8 or Friday, April 9 for our continued hybrid learning schedule.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT Mrs. Kelsey Gunneman, Third Grade Teacher I've been teaching for 10 years now, with the last 5 years in 3rd grade at HFA! My husband, Tyler, and I have been married for almost 13 years and have two wonderful kids, Willa (8) and Titus (6). We love going camping, taking bike rides, and hanging out at home with our new boxer-shepherd puppy, Rhett. Some of my favorite hobbies are baking, spending time in my garden, and getting lost in a good book!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT Each week in our Heritage Flex Notes we spotlight an HFA faculty and staff member. Ms. Elise Grangetto... 2nd Grade Instructional Aide I'm enjoying my second year as an instructional aide at HFA. I loveworking in Mrs. Briggs' second grade class and supervising most of the recesses for grades 3-6. My favorite part of this school year has been creating The Art Cave blog for HFA's art program when the school went into distance learning. You can view the website on your FlexGrid or by visitingartcavehfa.weebly.com. I'm also studying to be a junior-high or high-school English teacher through Azusa Pacific University. While I plan to transition into the older grades, I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with each and every K-6 student. They have taught me humility and childlike joy for the world around us.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks on our many blessings of the past year.
