Larraine Elevated: . What is something you wish other women could see in themselves? That you do not need approval from ANYone, or permission, to be yourself. Your worth is not defined by the opinions of others. Your light shines brighter when you let your shine alongside someone else. When you are climbing a mountain, keep going. Surrounding you is the energy of the women in your life now, and your ancestors. They provide you with energetic support. They are cheering you on... to keep. going. If you start to fall, or slide back toward the base, there will be energies of those supportive people to build stairs for you. Keep going. Get to the top. Because the view from there will leave you with arms-wide-open-smile-so-big-it-makes-you-cry. . What's the greatest gift we can give ourselves? Speaking our truth with respect and good intentions. . And her favorite place on Earth The ocean. . . . Thank you, Larraine, @embodimentwithlarraine, for your beauty, strength, vulnerability and being so magical. I appreciate you for creating the path for Operation her Elevated. . . We’re here celebrating women celebrating themselves - all natural, real, no touch ups, just as they beautifully are. We’re here to share beyond the physical, to share the story of a woman’s body, the one you don’t see, the one you don’t know. We’re here to normalize, be organic, and honor our body, it’s history, it’s layers and everything that makes us a woman. . #operationherelevated See more

Larraine Elevated: . 3 things she doesn’t enjoy about her body: I don’t love my arm jiggle. I don’t love the fat pads on my thighs.... I don’t love my eyelashes. . Now we rewrite the script - take those 3 things and how do they make you uniquely YOU: My arms jiggle when I add love and flavor to the meals I prepare for others. They jiggle when I am shimmying with my sister-in-law, we do a happy dance often together. I am a connector-love to cook for my family and friends, bringing people together to gather at the table with good wine and great food. I am a fun-loving woman, dancing anytime I can. When my arms jiggle while cooking or dancing, it’s really just my liveliness in action. Oh, the fat pads. My legs have taken me into many adventurous, challenging, melancholy, and ecstatic moments. I have walked into the hospital room to be with my Grandma, then Grandpa when they died. I have jumped for joy when finding out I was pregnant. I walked down the aisle (which felt like floating really) to marry the love of my life. Those fat pads, they are just a layering of the many emotional experiences I have had. The good and the bad. My story is written, not only in my head and my heart, but my entire body. With my autoimmune thyroid disease, my eyelashes have been falling out. The hair loss is no fun. I used to have more volume in my eyelashes, and hair. How can I do butterfly kisses now!? I evolve. I embrace the change. Just as I have done my entire life. Just as the butterfly does. . What would you tell your younger self about your body? If anyone ever makes you feel that your body is not yours, stand strong in your boundaries. Speak up for yourself. If you do not, the only person whose feelings you will truly hurt, are your own. . What is your favorite type of movement and why? Buti Yoga! I become entranced with the rhythmic movements to the beat of the music, letting my body be free. Buti is empowering, sensual, strength...it’s magical. . 2 of 3 @ her Elevated See more

Operation her Elevated: Larraine Married to her high school love, mama to 2 dogs, + 1 rabbit. . Her body story: My body has taken me through many adventures and challenges. My womb, my stomach have been through so much. I had a miscarriage, an emergency surgery for a tubal pregnancy and two big babies. My petite frame carried two full term pregnancies, with each baby over 8 pounds! I have scars from the surgeries, stretch marks from the baby bottoms pressed against my belly ...from the inside, and a butt stomach from the stretched to the max skin paired with two caesarean births. When my daughter asks about why I have a butt stomach I tell her that I am proud of it and wouldn’t change a thing. That butt stomach is from bringing two of the best little humans into this world! Not all women bounce back after baby. Some women do, and that is beautiful..and many women do not, that is beautiful, too. My body has been on a roller coaster for the past 4 years. Some months my body is holding onto fluid, fat...some months it’s gone. I have an autoimmune disease that attacks my thyroid gland. It causes hair loss, weight gain, dry skin, thin nails...and that is just the physical effects! I have spent the last 4 years on this journey, it took two years to get a diagnosis and will take my lifetime to keep it in balance. It is my daily reminder that I am worthy of making time to take care of ME. My body, my health, it must be a priority. . What she loves about her body: #1: my booty (Hello, JLo!) My eyes, my biceps, my feet, being in the petite-girl-crew, my hands, my tattoo, my breasts-I fed two tiny humans with those beauties! . How do you shift your perspective when you’re having a funky body day? I put on my feather earrings, an outfit that makes me feel beautiful, sexy, empowered, put on my Mac Selena lipstick La Reina and I walk myself out the door, head held high, words of affirmation-you’re gorgeous, and don’t let ANYone make you feel any different...be you. ....and I make sure to put on some music and dance as much as possible! . 1 of 3... @ her Elevated See more
