Whether you call it a double chin, a turkey neck, or just a little extra skin, we understand that the bit of fat around the jawline can be anything from slightly annoying to absolutely devastating. And our faces are the first thing people see. So it’s completely understandable to feel self-conscious when gravity kicks in and the chin falls victim to its weight. The good news? There are options! Besides exercise and dieting; you can freeze, heat, inject, or pull out the fat.... Our favorite? WarmSculpting Profile treatments with SculpSure. This body contouring technology is an ideal choice for under the chin. Here are just a few reasons why: -Tick-tock: Some treatments take anywhere from 35 to 60 minutes,1 but WarmSculpting Profile treatments are a quick and easy 25 minutes. -Au Naturale: Expect smooth and natural-looking results.2 -Take care of yourself (and your cells): The feathering of heat is designed to target the treatment area and minimize the effect on surrounding areas.

To wear or NOT to wear a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic? I have to admit I love to travel so I traveled a lot in my life and I miss it greatly! In the past, mainly after the H1N1 pandemic, I remember seeing a few people wearing masks in the airport, or during the flight, which seemed so restrictive and cumbersome and, especially seemed so paranoid. I never envisioned living in a world where we have to wear masks every day at work, in the grocery store, or whenever we inter...act with other people. Back in March of this year, I couldn’t imagine that for the next 5 months I will be wearing a mask 8-10 hours a day. And there is no end in sight! However, I embraced wearing the mask quickly, not as much for my protection but, mainly for the protection of all the others I come in contact with daily. I believe in being a good citizen, and protecting others is the main reason I wear a mask, and the reason all of us should wear masks. I understand there are some concerns regarding wearing a mask: when you have a respiratory condition, including lung CANCER, or facial skin conditions like acne, hot flashes, as well as anxiety or claustrophobia. Some people supposedly have gotten letters from their doctors supporting the idea that they should not be wearing a mask. However, consider always wearing a mask when going into the supermarket, into the doctor’s office or when you are anywhere indoors except for your home. Please be a good citizen for the sake of others. #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

What is the best treatment for the current COVID-19 Virus? Part 2 Maybe as individuals, we need to focus less on how to fight the virus, leaving that to the scientists, and focus instead of preventing getting sick from COVID-19. Maybe the right answer is what can we personally do to strengthen our immune system, so that we can be just a temporary host, remaining unaware that we even have it when we get it. We can do so much more that wear a mask. We can change the way we eat,... we can exercise more, we can manage our stress better, and we can focus on adding a few supplements that can help strengthen and prop our immune system. Please visit our website for more information regarding strengthening your immune system. https://www.herahealthcare.com//protecting-yourself-from-c #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox

What is the best treatment for the current COVID-19 Virus? Part 1 As we learn more about this virus and how we can help our body fight it off better, more and more information regarding helpful therapies as well as a possible vaccine comes to light. What is best? how to choose? At the beginning it was hydroxychloroquine or Plaquenil and Zithromax. Later, attention turned to antivirals like remdesivir or interferon or a combination of both. There are numerous companies worki...ng to produce and launch a coronavirus vaccine. How useful it will be in helping us during this pandemic is unclear. Take for example what we know about the Flu vaccine which is released and produced every year last season 2018-2019 it was only 29% effective in preventing the flu, compared with 2019-2020 season vaccine which shows a 45% effectiveness. It seems that without a large-scale study it will be impossible to predict how effective a coronavirus vaccine will be. The recurring mutations of influenza strains prompted the introduction of a quadrivalent inactivated vaccine, the composition of which is determined on the basis of the most frequent strains isolated in the previous season during continuous surveillance by the WHO. The virus causing the COVID-19 pandemic, SARS-CoV-2, presents at least six strains, according to Science News. Despite its mutations, the virus shows little variability, and this is good news for the researchers working on a possible viable vaccine. Whether such a vaccine will work for our aging elders, who are most at risk, is debatable since the immune system is less likely to respond as a healthy normal immune system would. The same is true for patients with compromised and dysfunctional immune system. #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

How can women increase Progesterone levels naturally? - Eating certain foods can boost your body’s ability to produce more natural Progesterone, like: beans, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Kale, Nuts, spinach, nuts and whole grains (oats, quinoa, flaxseed) etc. - Herbal products like chaste tree berry, or vitex angus-cactus, red raspberry leaf, macha can also stimulate and enhance natural Progesterone secretion by the ovary. - Reducing stress will reduce the... demands on your body to produce the stress hormone cortisol, which can use the pregnenolone and Progesterone produced in the body and shift them towards cortisol. It is well known that stress reduces fertility, and causes hormonal imbalances. - Do not over exercise, as it can lead to increased stress and increased cortisol production vigorous exercise is great as long as your body has been trained and can tolerate it. Consider using a personal trainer outlined program, or increase your exercise duration and intensity gradually as tolerated by your body. - Maintain a healthy body weight and avoid excess fat deposition. #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

What is Progesterone and what does it mean to have low levels? Progesterone is an essential sex hormone for women during their reproductive years as well as after menopause if Estrogen replacement is administered, as it balances the Estrogen effects on the breast, uterus, tubes and ovaries. The progesterone is responsible to not just help regulate your cycle, but also to get the uterus ready for pregnancy every month, and when pregnancy happens to maintain the uterine lining... and support the pregnancy during the first 3 months of pregnancy. When you have low Progesterone, you may have trouble getting or staying pregnant. Low Progesterone during the first few months of pregnancy can lead to miscarriage. You can test your Progesterone levels with a simple blood test that your doctor can order for you. The best time to test is during days 19-22 of your cycle, ideally 7 days before your period is supposed to start. You can replace Progesterone or treat low levels with either oral pills of micronized synthetically made Progesterone from peanut oil called Prometrium, by using a compounded Progesterone processed from Mexican yams, by using vaginal suppositories or creams or by using topical creams. Talk to your physician about Progesterone. The synthetic progestin from birth control pills is not Progesterone. It is a chemical compound synthesized in a lab, that is similar but not identical in structure with Progesterone. #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

How do we get exposed to estrogen-like products? What are they & where are they found? We get exposed to estrogen-like compounds or xenoestrogens at almost every step and at every turn we take during our day to day lives. These chemical man-made products mimic estrogen once they come in contact with the human body. From our cleaning products to cosmetics women place on their skin, from the BPA lined cans and plastic bottles or other plastic products that we use daily, to the ...water we drink and food we eat, we get exposed to xenoestrogens multiple times throughout the day. Please take time to read the label of the back of the boxed or packaged food, or drink products you consume. Try to eat clean and organic as much as possible. Shop in the fresh produce section rather than pre-packaged food aisles. Drink clean purified water and use healthy and chemical free water containers. Don’t be afraid to read more about this subject as it has a great impact on our health. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenoestrogen #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

How/Where do women get their excess Estrogen? Not being able to process/eliminate your normal estrogen leads to much higher levels than the body needs. Look into your gut health and liver health, as that is how the estrogen your body produces daily is being processed and eliminated. If digestion is impaired or the liver is busy processing alcohol or other toxins then estrogen might take a back-burner stance in the body and linger longer than needed or be reabsorbed in the bod...y from the gut. Not having enough Progesterone to balance the Estrogen effect on our female organs will lead to heavy periods, painful periods, painful sex, painful and sore breasts, weight gain etc. Getting exposed to estrogen-like chemical compounds from our food, drink, cosmetics, cleaning products, gardening pesticides and many more will disrupt our body’s hormone signaling these chemical compounds bind or block our hormone receptors, and increase the amount of total estrogen available in the body leading to estrogen dominance. #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

What happens in the female body if there is too much Estrogen? Estrogen is an essential hormone for the female body, so can you have too much of it? The answer is YES! Estrogen dominance is defined by having more Estrogen than the body needs, or more than the body can process and metabolize, definitely Estrogen that is not balanced by the other 2 sex hormones, specifically Progesterone and also Testosterone. Too much Estrogen in relation to the other hormones will lead to inc...reased risk of Estrogen dependent cancers like Breast CA, Uterine CA, Ovarian CA, as well as other serious female specific conditions like PCOS, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, weight gain, anxiety and irritability or moodiness. Women also get exposed to exogenous estrogen-like molecules in their day to day lives which worsen or contribute to the estrogen dominance problem. #DrC #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #SculpSureSubmentalDoubleChinTreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #Pregnancy #Infertility #BirthControl #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #Nitronox See more

A healthy gut is crucial for normal Estrogen balance The gut microbiome regulates our estrogen. Here’s how the body maintains healthy and balanced estrogen levels when healthy: Step 1 - Estrogen is produced in the ovaries (also in the adrenal glands and our fat tissue to a lesser extent) Step 2 - Estrogens circulate in the blood, making their way to tissues in the breasts, sexual tissues, brain, bones, skin, hair follicles, gut lining, etc Step 3 - Estrogens travel to the l...iver, where they are metabolized and processed, ready to be eliminated Step 4 Detoxified/processed estrogens are deposited in bile which is then secreted into the intestines, and eliminated from the body via our stool. The estrogen-regulating function of specific bacteria in the microbiome is called the estrobolome. The estrobolome is really important to keeping healthy estrogen levels in the body through the production of beta-glucuronidase, an enzyme that breaks down the processed estrogen into its free form that can be re-absorbed back into the body. If the estrobolome is disrupted and overgrown, then an overproduction of glucuronidase will lead to the re-absorption and recirculation of Estrogen, leading to very high levels in the blood. This situation leads to what we call Estrogen Dominance, which creates all kinds of problems PMS, painful periods, fibroids and cysts, endometriosis, PCOS, heavy bleeding, infertility, a diminished sex drive, and weight gain. And of course, it will increase the risk of certain types of breast and uterine cancers. #DrC #DrC_Westlake #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Potenza #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #sculpsuresubmentaldoublechintreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #HotFlashes #Infertility #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #nitronox See more

What leads to intestinal permeability/leaky gut and can we prevent it? We all have some degree of leaky gut, as this barrier is not completely impenetrable because it likely isn’t supposed to be perfectly tight. Some of us may be more genetically predisposed and may be more sensitive to changes in the digestive system, but our DNA is not the only one to blame. Our modern life may actually be the main driver of gut inflammation. The standard American diet, which is low in fibe...r and high in sugar and saturated fats, may initiate this process. Stress, heavy alcohol use and over the counter anti-inflammatory medications like NSAIDs, which are abundantly present in every household, seem to disrupt this balance. We already know that increased intestinal permeability plays a role in certain gastrointestinal conditions such as celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. The question is whether or not leaky gut may cause problems elsewhere in the body. Some studies show that leaky gut may be associated with autoimmune diseases (lupus, type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis), as well as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, allergies, asthma, eczema, acne, obesity, and even mental illness. Leaky gut Truth or Myth? The digestive system plays a very important role in protecting our body from harmful substances. The walls of the intestines act as barriers, controlling what enters the bloodstream and what is eliminated. Small gaps in the intestinal wall called tight junctions allow water and nutrients to pass through, while blocking the passage of harmful substances. Intestinal permeability refers to how easily substances pass through the intestinal wall. When t...he tight junctions of intestinal walls become loose, the gut becomes more permeable, which may allow bacteria and toxins as well as large molecules that normally would be eliminated in the stool to pass from the gut inside our body. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as "leaky gut."When the gut is "leaky", bacteria, certain toxins and some large molecules enter the bloodstream, and can cause widespread inflammation, which will likely trigger a reaction from the immune system. Supposed symptoms of leaky gut syndrome include bloating, food sensitivities, fatigue, digestive issues and skin issues like eczema, rashes, urticaria, etc. However, leaky gut is not a recognized medical diagnosis, and medical professionals deny that it even exists. Proponents claim that it's the underlying cause of all sorts of conditions, including chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, food sensitivities, thyroid abnormalities, mood swings, skin conditions and autism. Few scientific studies mention leaky gut syndrome. However, the medical community does agree that increased intestinal permeability (intestinal hyperpermeability) exists in certain chronic diseases.#DrC #DrC_Westlake #MirelaCernaianu #WomensHealth #AntiAgingSpecialist #HeraHealthcare #MonaLisaTouch #VitaliaTempsure #Viveve #Potenza #Menopause #WestlakeVillageFemaleDoctor #SculpSure #sculpsuresubmentaldoublechintreatment #ICON #ICONLaserHairRemoval #ICONLaserSkinResurfacing #StretchMark_Removal #Scar_Removal #AcneScarRemoval #PicoSure #ObGyn #HotFlashes #Infertility #UrinaryIncontinence #IC #HormoneReplacementTreatment #HRT #SottoPelle_Pellet #nitronox See more

How does Hashimoto’s happen? Modern medicine does not have the answer as to why we develop autoimmune conditions; why our immune system starts attacking certain types of organs or tissues in the body, causing inflammation, dysfunction of that organ or tissue, pain and suffering. Circumstances that may make it more likely for you to get Hashimoto’s thyroiditis are: Being a woman. Women are about 8 times more likely to have the disease. Hashimoto's thyroiditis sometimes beg...ins during pregnancy. The condition may get better in some women during pregnancy. But then it returns after delivery. Being middle age. Most cases happen between ages 40 and 60. But it has been seen in younger people. Having a family member with the disease (heredity). The disease tends to run in families. But no gene has been found that carries it. Having other autoimmune diseases. These health problems raise a person’s risk. Some examples are rheumatoid arthritis and type 1 diabetes. Having this type of thyroiditis puts you at higher risk for other autoimmune illnesses. The functional and integrative medicine community believes that intestinal hyperpermeability (leaky gut) is associated with multiple health problems, including autoimmune conditions. Many Hashimoto patients have been able to alleviate the attack on their tissues by focusing on gut health and avoiding gluten in their diet.
