Hemet Quest Family here is a message from our Principal! #HQUBELONG Hello Hemet Quest families, I hope you all had a great spring break and had time to recoup during the quarantine week. We are super excited both buildings will be opening back up on Monday. We are still only 1 day a week for the week of the 12th-16th, but the following week, we will be going to two days a week. So, starting April 19th your student can attend both Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday. ...Nothing will change for online students at this time. Those times will still remain the same. If you are currently scheduled on Monday or Tuesday, when we go to two days a week these will be the days you attend. Same with Wednesday and Thursday. You will still be required to attend online lessons in the afternoon after your in person lessons. We are hoping the week of April 26th we will be able to go to 4 days a week for those who chose in person learning. At this time, we would not require students attending in person to attend online in the afternoon. This will also allow us to offer the whole afternoon online session to only those students who are staying virtual. I will have more information about this next week. We just need to make sure we have the green light to do so, and to make sure all of the classrooms are set up and ready to go, following the guidelines that have been handed down for the new tier we are now in at this time. Keep in mind if you chose for your student to come back in person, and now you are not comfortable with the extra days and added students, you are free to switch back to virtual learning only. Just keep in mind once you make that decision, you will have to finish the year online. If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to call or email your teacher, the front office, or myself. Hemet Quest Family, Here is a message from our Principal. #HQUBELONG Hello Hemet Quest Families, I hope everyone had a restful and fun spring break. I just wanted to remind everyone what the schedule will look like for the next couple of weeks.... Monday 4/5/2021 is a home study day and there will not be any in person or online lesson with the teachers or aces. The rest of the week we will be doing online learning only, as we all quarantine for the week. This will give everyone a chance who may have traveled the chance to make sure they are healthy before we return to campus. Tuesday 4/6 through Thursday 4/8 Tk-2 will only meet online from 12:45-3:00 during the sessions your teacher has assigned for your student. Grades 3-5 will meet online from 1-3:15, 3-5 teachers will be setting up the MOU (memorandum of understanding) meetings with the parents who have elected to have their students return to campus for in person learning. I will also be holding another parent webinar for those who were not able to make the original meeting a few weeks ago. This meeting will be held Wednesday from 10 AM to 11 AM. Please let me know if you need the link for the webinar. Remember in order to return to campus, you must attend the webinar with me and attend another meeting with your teacher to sign the new MOU. The week of 4/12 we will return to our in person learning, for those who have chosen that model. We will be welcoming back our 3rd-5th graders for the first time in over year, we are all excited to have both building opened back up for our students. Grades Tk-2 will also be on campus for the 2nd week of in person learning. I must say the first week went way better than we could have ever expected. We want to thank all the parents and students for following all of the protocols during drop off and pick up times. We had no issues and were able to get everyone in the building in less than 15 minutes. Enjoy the rest of your day. Please remember at Hemet Quest YOU BELONG!
