It’s been a crazy busy week but it was worth it. We were very fortunate to have received so many toys and clothing donations that about 160 children and adults were able to have a social distance visit with Santa Claus. Santa was given a very touching letter from a young man who has Downs Syndrome. Christian asked for a few gifts but most of all he wanted his mom to be happy. Mom has dealt with the passing of her father, step mom and her beloved dog. Christians wish was to pu...t an extra smile on moms face. He ended his letter letting Santa know that he was going to leave his keurig machine on and that he was leaving coffee and apple cider. He wanted Santa to make coffee first before he puts the presents under the tree. He also wanted to remind Santa to remember to wear his mask so he doesn’t get sick. I was able to visit Christian Tuesday. You see Santa left some presents at my home and asked if I could deliver the packages for him. Understandably because he is pretty busy this time a year. Christian loved his gifts. So when mom pulled out her card she didn’t have her glasses on so Christian asked his mom if he could read it to her. Christian read the first 2 sentences and then he stopped and looked at his mom because he was trying to hold back his tears. So of course we all cried a bit. Santa explained to mom how wonderful her son was. He asked that his mom receive some gifts and he wanted to see her happy. Mom was elated. So I left there home knowing that I wanted to do so much more for this awesome family. Amazon, kohl’s, Safeway and Under Armour, courtesy of Dwayne Johnson the rock. All of these companies donated a ton of gifts. I will share some pictures tomorrow. Christian has been getting 2 packages a day since Wednesday. And mom is receiving gifts as well. They have such a wonderful relationship and I wanted them to worry far less this holiday. If you have an opportunity to help somebody definitely do it. Kindness, compassion and respect of others goes a long way. I hope everybody has a wonderful holiday. I will post some pictures tomorrow. Today was an awesome day. Santa handed out presents and goody bags to so many wonderful children and there families. Here are just a few pictures of Santa and her Elf.

Hi everyone. We have been extremely busy setting things up for our first annual Christmas gift extravaganza for some super special folks throughout Alameda County and the Bay Area, all of which are super cool and they have Down Syndrome. We had so many supporters and donators such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Jelly Belly, Albanese Confections, Sees Candy, Gertrude Hawk, Gerber, Mars, Just Born Candy, Oriental Trading Company and Safeway. I am very very grateful for these busin...esses to assist in our endeavor, however the most humbling donations came from the community in my Val Vista neighborhood. The pandemic has thrown an additional thorn in our side because as of last night at 10pm we are put back in a stay at home order. We had Santa and his Elves all ready to do contactless gift giving with a little show, music and spreading some much needed Christmas cheer. So as it stands right now if a family still wants to come to see the excitement from there vehicle we will NOT turn them away. However if the families change there mind about coming then there Case worker will personally deliver to the individuals. I have taken a few pictures of just the gifts that were donated. I will be putting together the goody bags later today so I will attach a picture once I start that task. Thank you everyone for your generosity. So many great things are happening so quickly for We Are HOME INC 1-On December 13 Santa and his elves will be delivering toys and goody bags to 100 kids with Downs Syndrome. We are stoked. To ensure the safety for the families and Santa and his elves we will be taking all necessary precautions. Families will pull up to my home where Santa will give the children there toys in the jolliest way possible. For the kids who are sick and cannot make the trip to Santa there case wor...ker will personally deliver them. 2-I have reached out to so many candy suppliers such as Albanese Candy, Gertrude Hawk, Sees Chocolate, Jelly Belly and Mars Corporation. Along with Costco and Walmart the fine folks at each company is donating lots of delicious treats to put a smile on all the kids faces. And I must give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to so many kind folks in my Pleasanton neighborhood. People have been dropping presents off and everyday somebody reaches out to meet to let me know they want to sponsor a child for Christmas. Human kindness will always make someone’s day brighter. I have some fantastic news that I will be sharing with you guys in the next day or so.
