I’m always reading about feng shui, minimalism, and the phenomenon of our clutter. I came across this social-science research from UCLA and book, and it fascinates me. In this book, 32 families open up their home and the research team counts every visible object. One of the things they are saying is that they would correlate that a House that had a cluttered refrigerator with photos and papers all over it, was also more likely to have cluttered public rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms, and offices. Our refrigerators have become kind of a command center of tasks and memories. Now, of course, I’m curious to see if this correlation is true. Is it true in your house? I’m contemplating stripping my refrigerator of all it’sartwork and see what happens. House energy is a mysterious thing!
