Good morning from the smoke filled Tahoe basin. We are so incredibly lucky that no fires have hit our town. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the amazing fire crews, emergency personnel, and helicopter pilots out there that are spending their days to keep us and our homes safe. We are California strong

Who’s ready for winter?!? Chilly mornings, coffee and fluffy pancakes! Count us in!!! Starting September 18th - October 3nd Highway 50 (Echo summit) will closed for maintenance... gearing up for a heavy winter, we hope!! Make sure to visit us before then to enjoy the last bits of summer!! Otherwise... highway 88 to 89 is a BEAUTIFUL drive! Or come see us through Truckee! Lots of places to stop along the way.

Our staff has been arriving before the sun and staying long after closing to set up and take down our new outdoor dining! As well as ensuring we are practicing proper cleaning and sanitizing. We can’t thank our staff enough for the long hours they are putting in and especially the MILES they are putting on their feet. Did you know our servers are walking up to 10 miles a day going back and forth between the kitchen and outside?! All while smiling and offering up the best service. Thank you Heidi’s team!

This is a very rare opportunity as many of our employees are known to stay with us for 10 to 25 years. We seek only team members who are energetic, enthusiastic, professionals who take pride in their appearance and are confident in their ability to provide exceptional service to our guests while building our sales and maximizing their income. Expect 13.00 per hour plus above industry average in tips. In addition, we pay time and one half on for 6 holidays worked, free meals, off duty meal discounts and have college tuition reimbursement plan. Apply in person only. As of Tuesday, July 14th, Heidi’s Pancake House will be serving a FULL take out menu. We will also have a small section of tables set up for outdoor dining in our front parking lot. This will be the first time in Heidi’s history that we have offered outdoor dining! In accordance with new Covid 19 regulations, per governor Newsom, we will no longer be serving dine in. We are doing our best to stay positive during all of the changes this season has brought us. We are so happy that we are still able to serve up tasty food paired with wide smiles. Our hearts are so full after this week! It’s great to see Tahoe up and running again. We aren’t completely back to business as usual... but it’s getting closer and closer by the day! With hotels slowing opening up we are seeing more and more guests visit our happy home. HUGE thank you to all of our staff that has been hustling (in masks) to give the best service to our patrons.
