Thanks to my goody friend and landlord, Simone, for this photo of me hard at work in the window this evening. I’m so thankful for the studio space my other goody friend artiste Peg Grady has given me and for the whole beautiful property that is The Educated Gardener. So many hours of cold and dark now. It’s a challenging season to get work finished.... First, the clay is frickin’ COLD! Brrrrrr! Second, the clay dries slowly. ... Finally, since I glaze outdoors there’s not enough hours above 50 to get work done. So changing shop to winter hours now: happy to see you Wednesday-Saturday 11-5, and still available by appointment as always.

New in the shop.... I love using my long handled wooden tasting spoon for tasting soups and sauces and stirring the coffee in the press pot.
