A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN! With two Miatas, OC Mazda's very own Carrie Martinez and Omar Jasso enjoy their free time together on beautiful winding roads. One Roads...ter wasn’t enough, so they each got one and they pack their free time with thrilling drives throughout the Golden State’s many destinations. Recent trips include Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, and Big Sur! They take their dog Bam (seen here playing in the water at Lake Tahoe) and still have room for cameras, snacks, and essentials. The drive is just as fun and scenic as the destination, so there’s no way we’d take anything other than a Miata, said Omar when asked about his recent 10-hour drive to Lake Tahoe (and 15-hour drive home). The hardest part was picking which one we’d take; we usually caravan, but chose to consolidate this time given the long distance. Omar says space is limited, but not an issue--they pack smart, and he's looking at a trailer hitch & basket to add capacity for desert camping trips.
