Today is the last day for priority registration for returning guards and tomorrow is our first tryout for new junior guards! If you haven’t registered your returning junior guards yet today is the last day to do so! Make sure you do it before midnight. For tryouts tomorrow make sure you reserve your spot prior to your arrival and remember to fill out the tryout form before coming to tryouts. The form is located on our website !... Lastly, good luck to everyone who’s trying out tomorrow. We are so excited to see you all there!

Graduation Part 2

Graduation Part I

JG Graduation On Thursday, August 13th in lieu of our traditional graduation at Edison high school we will be having a drive thru graduation ceremony from 8:00 AM 12:00 PM in our parking lot south of junior lifeguard headquarters. The drive thru schedule will be based on last name and will be as follows: Last Name Time A F...................................8:00 AM 9:00 AM... G L ..................................9:00 AM 10:00 AM M R ................................10:00 AM 11:00 AM S Z ..................................11:00 AM 12:00 PM Drive Thru Procedures: 1. Arrive at your designated time dressed in appropriate graduation attire (you do not need to wear your uniform). 2. Junior guards should be seated in the passenger seat behind the driver (left side of car). If there are multiple guards in your household, seat them in the back passenger seats if possible. This is to ensure that guards can exit and reenter your vehicle quickly. 3. Enter the lot at Huntington Street and follow the signs towards junior lifeguard headquarters. 4. Upon reaching the balloon arch, only your junior guard(s) may exit your vehicle to receive their certificate and take a picture (alone) at our lifeguard unit. You may take a picture from your car, but only junior guards may exit the vehicle. 5. We encourage you to decorate your vehicle as appropriate and please make a sign with your last name displayed on the front of your vehicle to help our instructors expedite the process. 6. Exit the parking lot at the 1st street exit. Safety Guidelines: 1. Junior guards are the only people allowed to exit the vehicle when prompted by instructors. Social distancing measures still apply so please stay at least 6 feet away from any other individuals. 2. Please drive slowly and carefully through the parking lot at all times with adequate distance between you and the car in front of you. 3. Buses, trailers and bikes are not allowed.
