As the author of the nation's strongest equal pay legislation while in the California State Senate, I was honored to give the keynote address to a US sponsored webinar for the women of South Asia including India, Bangladesh and Nepal, to discuss best practices supporting women's participation in the workforce. While we've come a long way, we still have a long way to go to reach parity and equal pay--especially for women of color in the US and women around the globe. #EqualPayDay
