We are so excited for tryouts this weekend. It will be great to see the kids back out on the baseball and softball fields. Please remember that Hart is VOLUNTEER organization. Especially during tryouts, we rely heavily on parent volunteers. Please take a moment to look at our volunteer calendar to see where help is needed this weekend. By completing one 3 hour shift, you will earn back your $50 volunteer fee. http://www.hartbb.org/Cal/
A friendly reminder...

Hello Hart Families, Just wanted to update you on the status of our 2020 Baseball and Softball Fall Season. As it stands now, Hart will open up for our Rec and ABL leagues as soon as LA County gives us the "go-ahead". We are currently getting the complex ready to re-open and as soon as the county allows us to hold competitive games, we will open up registration and start our fall leagues as we do every fall. The start date will most likely be pushed back as LA County has n...ot giving the approval to start youth sports leagues just yet. But rumor has it they are considering it and may allow it soon. So please keep an eye on our Facebook page and the Hart website (www.hartbaseball.org). I want to be clear, the moment they give us the approval to open, we will have Baseball, Softball, and ABL registration opened. Stay safe and we hope to see you soon at the Hart Complex The Hart Baseball & Softball Team
*Fall Season Update* Hello Hart Families, the e-board met and voted last night regarding the 2020 Hart Baseball & Softball season. We all agreed that we will not do anything until LA County allows us to play competitive sports. There are many rumors that they will open up soon. As soon as we have official word from the county that we are able to re-open, we will. Until then, please stay safe! Keep an eye on our Facebook page & our website for more information.
Anyone else miss seeing a full parking lot at Hart?

Here are some best practices for creating an awesome video: 1. Tell us your first name, city and state, and what you love about baseball 2. Be sure we can clearly see you throwing the ball (e.g., have someone film you from the front, side, or behind you). Here are some sample videos to provide inspiration: a. Sample Video 1 b. Sample Video 2 c. Sample Video 3 3. Feel free to wear your youth team uniform 4. Shoot horizontally 5. Avoid shooting into the sun 6. Make sure to not record on a windy day as we want to be able to hear you! 7. Video should be no longer than 15 seconds 8. Click the link in your email to upload your video Have fun, be safe and PLAY BALL!
It is with deep sadness that I have to let you know that Chris Gurske passed away yesterday. She had been struggling with a number of illnesses the last couple of years. Chris was a fixture at Hart for decades as a scorekeeper with Mustang I as her favorite spot. Chris was with Hart on the Auxiliary Board in the 90s and later on the Board of Directors for 4 years before stepping down when she was sick. Chris was a gentle kind lady that will be truly be missed by all of us who knew her.
For those who might be interested in donating......
