Nursing students attend national conference Fifteen (15) students from the associate degree-nursing program along with their faculty advisor, Dr. Janeen Whitmor...e, attended the 65th National Student Nurse Association (NSNA) Conference in Dallas, Texas on April 5-9, 2017. The convention encourages nursing students to network with other students and faculty members and to participate in plenary sessions, workshops, seminars and other educational activities. Hartnell College was able to send two (2) delegates to the Resolution Hearings who were able to vote on National Issues affecting the NSNA. All 15 associate degree-nursing students from Hartnell College participated in an NCLEX-RN review session. On April 8, 2017, Johnson and Johnson sponsored a Care Run with proceeds helping to fund scholarships. Jorge Diaz-Sanchez, a second semester ADN student and President-elect of the Hartnell College Student Nurse Association, placed 2nd overall in the 5K run! All enjoyed a good time.
