We are starting a Q & A series! As a parent, you want the best for your child- and we do too! The American Dental Association recommends that a child visit the dentist by their first birthday, while baby teeth are emerging. Although your child's first dentist appointment should be by their first birthday, the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that your child get a check-up with an orthodontist no later than age 7. A fun fact for your #Friday! Dental X-rays are valuable in helping us determine the overall dental health of your child. By diagnosing dental disease early, it allows us to provide the most conservative and cost-effective treatments. Keeping your children safe is of the utmost importance to us. The frequency for taking dental x-rays is based off of your child’s risk for tooth decay and is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. We Believe in Patient and Team Safety. We do what Hospital and Medical Facilities do to prevent cross-contamination of breathing circuits and respiratory equipment for our Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen (Laughing Gas) Equipment. We follow the manufacture’s instructions for cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing as well as have bacteria virus filters installed.

March 26, 2020 Update Stay Safe and Stay Healthy, Together as a Community We Shall Come Through the COVID-19 Pandemic. In regards to the COVID-19 pandemic closures and social distancing measures in place. California’s order remains open-ended, our County’s Department of Public Health has set a deadline of April 6.... The California Dental Association says that National guidance suggests April 12, however, some public health officials are questioning that deadline. As such we are rescheduling those patients with appointments April 7-12. Happy Healthy Teeth is currently following the Directives of Essential Healthcare and Emergency Operations. Our Customer Care Team is available by Phone Monday Through Friday 9:00 am -3:30pm to take your Phone calls. Tentatively, we hope to normal operations on Tuesday April 14, 2020 and expect to begin to see Patients on Wednesday April 15, 2020. Team #HappyHealthyTeeth left the pad this past week to attend the annual meeting of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. We attended continuing education courses, and now we’re toadally pumped to bring back what we learned to better serve our patients!
