Time to get back in the water. On June 1 the Hanson Memorial Pool will be open for lap swimming by PUC Staff, Faculty, Emeriti, and their immediate family members only under the following guidelines: (You must have a reservation to swim! Please read the guidelines before reserving your spot.) Hanson Memorial Pool Reopening Procedures... 1. The pool will only be open to PUC/HME Staff, Faculty, Emeriti, and their immediate family. (6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. & 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) 2. The facility receives a complete cleaning and disinfectionall contact points. 3. Posting of Napa County COVID-19 Swimming Pool Regulations 4. All pool staff will wear face coverings when not on active lifeguard duty. 5. All public contact points will be disinfected before each opening and every hour after opening. 6. The Hanson Memorial Pool water quality, and degree of disinfection, meets or exceeds Napa Health Department COVID-19 recommendations. 7. Upon entering the facility, swimmers must go directly to the shower room to take a shower and wash their hands. 8. Other than during shower time and when swimming laps, all swimmers will need to wear face coverings and maintain state and county social distancing protocol. 9. Lap swim only a. One swimmer per lane. b. Non-swimmers are not permitted inside the facility. c. Designated locations for swim gear. d. Swimmers must bring their own swim gear kickboards, swim paddles, etc. e. All swimmers must follow social distancing protocol when in or around the facility. 10. Screening prior to entering a. The following will be denied entry: i. Those with a fever (100+), cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, headache, sore throat, the new loss of taste or smell, or other symptoms listed by the CDC ii. Anyone in a household has symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19 iii. They have been exposed to anyone who has symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19 11. Swimmers must come to the facility ready to swim and leave without changing The bathrooms and shows will be open, but the locker rooms will be closed. 12. To avoid gatherings of people outside the pool, lap swims be restricted to 30 minutes, and swimmers must make a reservation.
